Writing this from miles high in the sky, en route to Toronto.
Chaos isn’t always outside- it often lives inside us.
I was at the airport, all set to travel, when everything changed at the last minute—tickets, transit plans, timing.
I was literally counting the minutes waiting on a document approval, facing the possibility of spending way more than I should’ve.
I didn’t even get to see my boarding pass for this 24-hour journey ahead.
My mind started questioning my calmness:
Shouldn’t you be panicking?
Shouldn’t your heart be racing?
Shouldn’t you be moving and speaking faster?
It was as if I was being prompted to respond like I used to. Like I was supposed to.
But that’s when I noticed something:
“I have changed”
Not my mind – but me.
And I realised I could simply tell my mind to be still.
Your beliefs don’t have to guide you.
They belong to your mind, not to you.
Read that again.
With love,
Manna
