It is not lack of love, lack of common interests or lack of intimacy that disconnects you in your relationships.
The devil is in these questions..
If I give too much, will I lose myself?
OR
If I love too much, will I be abandoned or rejected?
Or
Do I deserve this good life?
Can you see it’s FEAR wrapped in these questions, either you to you or you in your relationship with the other person.
Perhaps, you decided very early on, that if I can understand and serve unconditionally, I will receive all the love and attention
Or
You must have decided that if I take care of them, they will take care of me and we all grow together.
And that identity continues to do what it decided ages ago, and striving to succeed, provide and love but what if that story has lost its charm?
These identities that took decisions based on one or two experiences, loaded with what ifs can stop you from living and you continue to prove to yourself or others.
I was there once – loaded with fear and leading with fear.
Until one day I saw it all and I took that decision to rise up no matter what..
And that was the game changer..
We mistake love with giving, sharing and caring and fear if we don’t do that, we dont get love.
But it’s not love that leads, it’s courage that breeds love..
