Hi There,
Have you ever said to yourself:
“I know it’s good for me… so why am I not doing it?”
“I know it’s bad for me… so why can’t I stop?”
You’re not alone.
Just yesterday on Intentional Living, I asked a group of participants this exact question. And it opened up something powerful…
You see, we are irrational beings trying to live rational lives.
We try to apply logic to parts of ourselves that were never created through logic-like our emotional reactions, eating habits, self-sabotage, or waking up with purpose.
But here’s the truth:
Your patterns, perceptions, and emotional associations were created in moments when you weren’t even consciously aware.
They were shaped in pain, fear, confusion or even inherited through your environment.
So now, trying to think your way out of them?
It’s like trying to see a microbe with the naked eye.
You need the right lens.
And that lens begins with understanding this:
You have a mind and a body, but you are not your mind and body.
You cannot fully resolve an emotional wound through rational thought alone.
Because what you’re trying to heal is not rational in the first place.
Fearless inner peace is not found in overthinking or overexplaining.
It’s found in learning to access your inner world, the abstract, emotional, energetic part of you, without trying to force it to make logical sense.
That’s the first step.
And if you’re ready to take it…take that decision now
Love & Healing
Manna 🙏
