Bamboo Can Bend. Can You??

“No one seems to understand me or I am different”

How often you would have heard this statement? That’s the very first indicator of rigidity and lack of behavioural/mental flexibility.

Leaders speak YOUR language ( verbal and non-verbal) while others expect everyone to speak their language. Take shape of the container like water in a bowl.

Changing colours like a chameleon is not a bad thing after all. You do it all the time.

You don’t speak to your kids in the same tone or language as you do with an adult!!

There are no resistant people, there are only rigid behaviours and thoughts. Forest over trees, it is not about you and it is about US.

Leadership begins with YOU.

Nature always inspired me and has been my guiding force more than any person or a book.

When I had to leave my family behind in my pursuit to find me again and when I lost everything in tsunami, Bamboo and Water guided me.

These two simple elements in nature taught me resistance, patience and flexibility.

Bamboo is one of the most powerful plants out there. It’s simply mystical.

When compared to wood, bamboo fibre is 2-3 times stronger than timber. Maple wood is one of the densest and strongest hardwoods, yet bamboo is stronger while still being quite a bit lighter. It’s incredibly strong structure, and light weight combine to make it perfect to be used in the construction of skyscrapers.

Bamboo is powerful. It can endure earthquakes and can touch the sky, it doesn’t matter  if something unfortunate happens and someone cuts it down. It’ll just grow again, even stronger and more unstoppable than before.

Bamboo never stops being patient, resistant and flexible. Because it is aware it has the right to touch the sky.
